Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram join forces for a lively dance number
The team behind director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming entertainer ‘January 12 Vidudala’ has filmed a special dance sequence in Mysuru.
The song shoot reportedly brought together the film’s four principal actors — Venkatesh, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty — at the location.
Actor Sriman, who is also part of the cast, expressed his excitement about working with choreographer Brinda Master once again. He noted that it had been nearly eight years since he had featured in one of her choreographed songs.
The film recently received its official title after being referred to by working titles including #VenkyAnil5 and #NKRAR2.
The title was unveiled through a promotional video released by production house Shine Screens. The announcement video was designed around humour and nostalgia, with a reference to the work of veteran filmmaker EVV Satyanarayana.
The video showed the lead actors approaching Anil Ravipudi to ask about their movie’s title. The director responded with ‘January 12 Vidudala’, prompting confusion among the actors, who initially assumed he was revealing the release date.
The humorous misunderstanding eventually led to the confirmation that ‘January 12 Vidudala’ is indeed the official name of the film.
The project marks the collaboration of Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram with Ravipudi, with Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty also playing key roles.
