Aditya Hasan On His Journey From 90s To Epic – Filmy Focus
Aditya Hasan gained decent recognition with the web series 90s and is now making his feature film debut with Epic: First Semester.
Starring Anand and Vaishnavi, the film releases on September 11th. Aditya said he developed an interest in cinema after school and later completed his Masters in the UK.
He had earlier made Teacher, but the project was shelved. He revealed that 90s was inspired by his father’s real-life experiences.
Epic also has real-life inspiration and continues the world of 90s, focusing on a student’s life and relationships while studying abroad.
Aditya chose Anand as the hero, while producer Naga Vamsi suggested Vaishnavi. He also brought Gorati Venkanna on board for the song Sanchaarame.
