The teaser of Sree Vishnu\u2019s upcoming film \u2018Comrade Kalyan\u2019 has been released, offering a glimpse into an entertainer that combines romance, social conflict and revolutionary themes.<\/p>\n

The film marks the directorial debut of Janakiram Marella and is presented by writer Kona Venkat. Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati are producing the project under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP.<\/p>\n

Sree Vishnu plays a theatre owner who is an ardent admirer of revolutionary filmmaker and actor R Narayanamurthy. The story is set in villages along the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border in 1992.<\/p>\n

His character\u2019s peaceful life takes an unexpected turn when a young woman from Odisha enters his world. Their relationship changes his circumstances and eventually leads him towards the Naxal movement.<\/p>\n

The teaser hints at a transformation in the protagonist as personal experiences push him into a much larger conflict. The film appears to blend entertainment with themes of social inequality, ideology and rebellion. \u2018Comrade Kalyan\u2019 is scheduled to release in theatres on October 9.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
