Suriya<\/a> is nearing his 50th film and wants to make it a special project. According to few reports Suriya 50 will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj<\/a> and could be the much-awaited standalone Rolex film.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project was delayed earlier but an official announcement is expected soon. The producer is yet to be finalized with Kalaipuli S Thanu reportedly interested in backing it.<\/p>\n

Rolex was introduced through a cameo in Kamal Haasan\u2019s Vikram and received a huge response. Lokesh has already confirmed plans to make a full length film on the character.<\/p>\n

The project could be Lokesh\u2019s next after his film with Allu Arjun. Suriya will meanwhile complete his 48th and 49th films with TJ Gnanavel and H Vinoth.<\/p>\n
