Sara Arjun<\/a>, who recently gained popularity with the Bollywood hit Dhurandhar<\/a>, was the first choice for the heroine\u2019s role in Srinivasa Mangapuram<\/a>, the debut film of Jayakrishna Ghattamaneni.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

However, the role later went to Rasha Thadani<\/a>. Director Ajay Bhupathi<\/a> revealed that Sara was considered but felt she looked too young for the character.<\/p>\n

He also mentioned that Dhurandhar had not been released at that time and there were some issues with her casting agency.<\/p>\n

Rasha, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon<\/a>, was chosen after Ajay watched her YouTube videos and liked her acting skills.<\/p>\n

Srinivasa Mangapuram, which also stars Mohan Babu<\/a>, is set for a theatrical release on July 30th, marking Rasha\u2019s Telugu debut.<\/p>\n
